SSC CPO Exam Pattern 2017 1. There are two papers in the Examination,Paper-I will be online and paper-II will be online. 2. Question in both papers will be objective multiple choice type questions. English Comprehension
Candidates’ ability to understand Correct English, his basic comprehension and writing ability, etc. would be tested.Paper-II: English Language & Comprehension
Questions in this components will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding and knowledge of English Language and will be based on error recognition, filling in the blanks (using verbs, preposition, articles etc.), Vocabulary, Spellings, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Completion, Phrases and Idiomatic use of Words, comprehension etc. Important Points to be noted: I: There will be NO Interview for SI, ASI Posts in Delhi Police. Selection will be based on Marks of Paper 1 & Paper 2. II: In additional "The Commission reserves the right to add an additional Tier in the scheme of Examination." III: Deduction of 0.25 marks will be made for each incorrect answer.SSC CPO 2017 Selection Process:
Step I: Those candidates, who have scored above the cut off marks fixed by the Commission in Paper I would be required to appear in the Physical Endurance Test/Medical examination. Step II: Only those candidates, qualified in PET/PST and found medically fit will be allowed to appear in Paper-II. Step III: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their total marks in the Written Examination in Paper- I & II. Candidates will be recommended for appointment by the Commission on the basis of total marks in the Written Examination. There will be no interview component.
